- One the best way to celebrate Mother's Day is to give your mom the day off. Let her take it easy and relax while the rest of the family does the work.
- How about starting off Mom's day by making her breakfast in bed? Eggs and pancakes, cereal, toast...anything is great especially if she didn’t have to cook.
- Do secret acts of kindness, this might include feeding the dogs, doing a load of laundry and washing the dishes.... All without even being asked.
- Run a nice hot bubble bath for your mom and let her relax and unwind without disturbing her for awhile.
- Bake your mom a cake, tiding the kitchen after you and organizing an afternoon tea for the family.
- Leave a special note for your mom telling her what a great Mom she is and that you appreciate all the things she does for you.
- If you can't pick flowers for your Mom, how about ordering her favourite flowers and sending them to her? They don't have to be roses. Pick out what she likes
- Make your mom a homemade gift or card for Mother’s day. A carefully chosen card, with an appropriate verse will touch a mom's heart. Tell her how much she is appreciated
- Give Mom a homemade voucher for twenty minutes or a half hour back massage, back tickle, foot massage, pedicure, shoulder rub or whatever kind of pampering you know that she loves
- Kids can make mom a new bookmark if she reads a lot. Stick pressed flowers on a strip of card and laminate it, paste a photo on a strip of card or decorate a bookmark with glitter glue.
